We need a three way tie with the raiders and bengals. If it is just the bengals, then they would obviously have the tie breaker

I could be wrong...but I think we need a three way tie. Since we won and if Cinncinati loses we will be tied and they hold the tie breaker. If Oakland wins and Denver loses then Oakland wins the division and there is no tie because they won the division. So they both have to win. Thus the division winner is 9-7 and so is the second place team making a three way tie between Tennessee, Cincinati, and Oakland/Denver

I could be wrong but I think this is right

Just cincy and ten with the same record gives cincy head to Head matchup tiebreaker


We essentially need a scenario where a whole new/different set of rules have to be used

I see now. Sure doesn't look like it's gonna work out now... If the Jets would have won, what would the scenario have been then? Win and Cincy lose to get it?

Oakland down 5 with 9 minutes left. Denver down 4 with 2 minutes left.

Denver is going to lose in what has been an awful game to watch. Unless God decides to intervene.

It's over. We can thank Tebow and Sanchez, and most of all that terrible game we played against the Colts.
