Interior offensive linemen please. I'm tired of our pathetic run blocking. What really is curious to me is who will Munchak roll with next season? Does he try and get one more year out of Hass or go with the rookie?

I'd say that or safety would be our next pick. Wouldn't mind adding another playmaker on offense either. He'll probably go with Hass.

Sounds bad, but I'm glad this season is over. Screw it. I need some hoops, some golf, some summer, then I'll be ready. I need the offseason to regroup and rally. My kids teams stunk, the Vols sucked, and the Titans pulled the standard season.

Some thought the Titans would be horrible anyway, so yea, get it over with and start over will be alright with me too... By horrible I mean Andrew Luck sweepstakes horrible...

Ready for the playoffs.

Titans have locked up the 20th draft pick overall

...huh haven't had that exact pick since well before they left houston

Not sure what to think about any history in this area...I personally - based on watching their play this year - would have rather they be 8-8 picking just a few outside the top 10 (shot at a more solid player in a position of need...also - not too overly relevant - but they might have had some better history in that area; wasn't George a 14th or so, again quite minor) than the drop that came with a winning record

This team didn't deserve to make the playoffs when you split four games against teams that combined to go 7-21. Still, it sucks to see another postseason come and go without the Titans involved. Fire Palmer, start Locker in 2012, etc. Who can the Titans get at 20th that fills a need/is the best available?

need a Dlineman or LB - run defense is atrocious - so many big needs on this time its ridiculous.. mostly on the defense... but yeah the run blocking is sad.

you get into who's left; you start having to plan needs and then expecting/predicting more who's already going to have been taken

I'm eating crow. The Titans did not make the Playoffs. Unhappy but still played way better even with 5-11, or 6-10 predictions even with Britt getting injured, Chris Johnson having a bad year still ran for more than 1,000 yards. Close game losses put the Titans behind the eight ball the most detrimental was the Colts loss.
Hope Locker will be the starter in 2012.

It was a nailbiter with the Titans beating the Texans 23-22 produced a critical turnover that lead Titans first throwing td, Hasselback throwing a clutch td to Washington, Harper continues to prosper, another WR stepping up this time it's Avery, Texans lose in a harrowing way with Texans going for two tried to draw the Titans offsides failed with Texans jumping offsides, and then a horrid snap.

I'll be one to admit I had 9-7 as the ceiling and 6-10 for the expected. To think we had a shot at 10 wins, with wins against Indy and Jax, is positive... And sad.

I think we need an interior OL, prototype RB, S, DE as focal points of the draft. The other picks being best available. A steal at DT would also help, although Casey and Klug look good.

Home games next season (bolded teams were determined yesterday):

Colts
Jags
Texans
Steelers
Patriots
Jets
Bears
Lions

Away games:
Colts
Jags
Texans
Chargers
Bills
Dolphins
Vikings
Packers

Wow. Murderer's row. Better beef up in Free Agency, develop the studs you got in this draft class, and draft well in April.

Can't wait!

Nate Washington really, really earned my respect this year. His play through his injuries was McNair-esque. Seems like he grew as a leader this year, while I can't recall him dropping a single pass which was a common occurrence since coming to Nashville. The WR corps looks really good with a healthy Kenny Britt:

1-Britt
2-Washington
3-D.Williams
4-??

I put a question mark on the 4 because Hawk is a free agent and I wouldn't be surprised if Avery wasn't resigned. Before yesterday, I would've said there was no chance Avery is back next year, but I think he might have saved his roster spot yesterday. Really, though, with Jared Cook at TE, he's like another WR so I feel really good about the Titans pass-catching options going into 2012.

Also, on the negative side, Amano and Harris got abused yesterday. I'm sick of seeing those guys getting whipped every week. Ever since he took over for Mawae, the OL hasn't been the same. And stupid decision to give the ball to Ahmard Hall at the end yesterday. I really hate to say it, but he's way overrated. He's a good guy with a great story, but I just am not a big believer in Sarge's blocking or running ability. His leadership skills might be the only reason I think it's ok to keep him on the roster, but I don't think he's a very good FB.

Top offseason priorities:

1a-Pass Rush
1b-Safety
Interior OL
OLB/C
WR, if the right person is available

Completely embarssed the last time we played the Pats.
Ended a losing streak to the Broncos still have on to another AFC West team the Chargers.
Haven't beat the Steelers since 2008 with steping on the Terrible towel.

This is going to be a tough schedule, and the Titans are going to need to make moves to help the defense.

By the way is there something in the NFL that allows a a team to play them twice in the same location two years a row?
We are playing the Bills in Buffalo again.

Was Hall in some kind of shock after the hit?
CJ, or Ringer would have made sense. If it was 2nd and inches I could understand giving it to hall but it wasn't.

Cook I think has become our Antonio Gates.
Britt, Avery, Williams Washington, Cook, etc I think they would all be dynamte with Locker starting.
Should not risk having Maraini as a wr unless it's for blocking for run plays.

Tampa Bay wants to interview Jerry Gray for their open HC position. Good for Jerry, but at this point I believe this is only to satisfy the Rooney Rule. However, I think there was a statistic out there that shows the vast majority of minority candidates are eventually hired as HCs at some point in time after they become "Rooney Rule" candidates. They may not necessarily get hired by the first team with whom they interview, but it helps them get their name out there and at some point they'll stick.

I am gutted for all you titans fans. I was rooting for you to make the playoffs this year, love watching you guys play... And I have a soft spot because the mate I have who got me into the Vols supports them.

Can anyone tell me why Fish wants to coach the Rams?

It's from Three Hours ago the Dolphins interviewed Jeff Fisher.

Miami Dolphins interview former Titans coach Jeff Fisher - Miami Dolphins - MiamiHerald.com

When was the last time they won a Playoff game?
The Rams once the Greatest Show on Turf from 1999-2005 have returned to being a punching bag 2006-2008, and from 2009-2011 have been one of the worst teams.
The Rams cheerleaders are hot but the Rams have not been. Would not be surprised if fans were more exited about cheerleaders dancing than watching a team that has a abysmal offense.

Heads will roll, says Munchak!

9-7 is not bad. I'm very happy with where we sit right now. Would be happier with playoffs, but still content.
