Not unless he gets a good QB. Personally, I think he's a fine coach and a pretty good playcaller, but he's definitely not from the Fisher tree. We're not going anywhere under him w/o a legit baller at QB

Indeed... Locker's accuracy hurt big today.....

Sincerely,

Capt. Obvious

i'm giving them a pass today. No way many of the guys had their head in the game with the Bironas news

This was simply whatever could go wrong did go wrong.
Without a effective running game it's obvious locker throwing 33 times or more will be disastrous,
I remain optimistic despite two stinkers in a row this worse than the last.

At least I got the hilarious south beach tow , plus authentic Chicago deep dish pizza at davlo pizzeria, and the hair product I ordered that I'll get this week possibly to get me through the week.
Also helps texans lost, along with the gators getting ran over by the crimson tide plus lsu choking vs the ms bulldogs.

Hard enough to win on the road and when you turn the ball over 3 times Plus not scoring points when you can and should have including in redzone after a turnover.
Its basically getting shocked by a eel, and bit by a blue shark.

Its still way to early to panic but this really does look like the same ole same ole. This loss isnt all Locker's fault but dude is driving me crazy.

Who here's old enough to remember this being a divisional game in the AFC Central?

I remember a David Climer column in the Tennessean in I think 1999 about the Titans/Bengals game the day before at the old Riverfront Stadium. He talked about how old the banners for each team were and how crappy Riverfront was and did some analogy about how on the rise the Titans and the Bengals were dead.

It made sense at the time because the Titans were doing great and had a new stadium and the Bengals sucked. But looking back it now the part about Riverfront didn't make sense because they opened the new Paul Brown Stadium the next season.

I mean, yeah, we had rivalry with the Jaguars.

But so much more of the Titans/Oilers history were its match ups with the Steelers and Ravens/Browns (not the new one).

Not sure about the Bengals vs Oilers/Titans.

The Titans/Jags "rivalry" lasted 2 seasons. After 2000 as both franchises started to fade, the game just hasn't meant that much.

The Titans/Ravens "rivalry" isn't much either. Mainly just because of 2000, the playoff game in 2004, and the epic choke job of 2008.

Locker with a wrist injury, Walker with a shoulder.

@jwyattsports: Jake Locker could hardly grip the ball at the end of the game, per Whisenhunt. Had an MRI this morning

@jwyattsports: Whisenhunt said he's unsure about Locker's availability for Sunday's game vs Indy #Titans

Gotta have good hair.

So does uncle Jesse of full house. :)

I notice sankey just hits the hole along with Greene. Great to see them just hit the hole running forward instead of dancing around which is a waste of time.
Doesn't mean there could be runs where they need to use jumps or maybe something beyond basic running but great to see them not trying for the homerun and just run to get the yards needed to reduce the amount of yards or get the first downs.

When are you guys going to release the chains on Sankey? That guy looks like a stud.

As in let him run wild.
Hopefully sooner than later because he looks like he could be the running back version of Steve smith but with hair. :)
He's fast like a husky and as fearless as one also.

Not sure why he's used in limited amount are they fearing he gets overused and possibly injured yes maybe.

"running back version of Steve Smith but with hair"..yeah I'm not following you on that one.

What does that even mean?

Basically he's a short guy compared to most other players in the nfl , but as a relatively small guy he has the advantage of very good speed, and isn't afraid of getting hit even with his smalls size that make him easier to level or pawn given the right angle.
A fearless small man not afraid of getting hit.

Although now that I think about it more fitting may be
Emmitt smith a running back who is 5'9 one inch shorter than sankey of 5'10.

Pass blocking and footwork are what I've heard are problems with him. He didn't exactly blow the doors off in preseason.

I happened to catch part of Wisenhunt's radio show on the way home tonight. He said that Sankey is having problems with his footwork and angles accepting handoffs. Basically he has a tendency to force Jake to have to reach too far to put the ball in his gut. They've worked on it extensively in practice but he still has issues in games. Increases the risk of a fumble.
