The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

We are awful against back up QBs. Please lose the remaining of the games. MNF game was cool but keep losing. This team is so bad and needs so much help.

He played well considering the state of the OL.
I didn’t get to see it, but listening it sounded like the Oline couldn’t run block or pass protect…..he was sacked 7 freaking times.

How bad was the psss interference call against the Titans that set up the Texans inside the 20?…. And the no call on the late hit on Kinsey?

Offensive line just about got Levis broke in two today. Won’t be the last time it happens if that unit isn’t addressed this offseason. Probably not going to be able to truly fix it in one offseason, but it can be improved upon significantly. Nowhere to go but up for that unit.

Meh. It’s a talent problem more than anything and I think the front office agrees. The NFL is about Jimmies and Joes. If you don’t have dudes it doesn’t matter who the coach is
Agreed. The Titans top to bottom have the worst roster in the league. It's a small miracle Vrabel has done as well as he has.

On the plus side, it *looks* like Levis is alright. But I'm honestly torn. On one hand I want him to get the reps if he can play. On the other I don't want him to get killed any further behind this putrid o-line. I'm still traumatized from Mariota breaking his leg in the last game of 2016. He was never the same after that.

Honestly I know this injury isn't a serious as we initially feared, but the smart thing to do would be to hold him out for the rest of the season and let RT earn some of that 35 mil.

I tend to agree at this point. Let Tannehill take the punishment the rest of the way, get him and Henry off the payroll at the end of the season, and then work to strengthen the offensive line so that Levis has a fighting chance of success next season.

I’m not sure what the best option is. I don’t see Vrabel holding a healthy Levis out though. That just doesn’t seem to jive with his competitiveness. I fully expect him to approach these last three games with the intention of winning them, and part of my reason for believing so is that I still think he's coaching for his job more than many of us believe.
