The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

He will probably go and sign with the Eagles and win a f***ing Super Bowl with AJ Brown. Sounds about right for our poverty ass franchise.

But I’m honestly hoping the best for him regardless of what happens. He’s wanted to be here every step of the way, and he may end up being the first legit HOF caliber player who’s played the bulk of his career as a Tennessee Titan.

I want the best for the King. He deserves to spend the twilight of his career on a team that is capable of winning a Super Bowl. I don’t want him to waste his final years in Nashville as part of a franchise that almost certainly has no chance of making a playoff run for at least a couple more seasons.

He’s given his all to a franchise than frankly hasn’t given it’s all. His legacy as a Titan is one that will stand amongst the best to ever play for this franchise.

Offensive line just about got Levis broke in two today. Won’t be the last time it happens if that unit isn’t addressed this offseason. Probably not going to be able to truly fix it in one offseason, but it can be improved upon significantly. Nowhere to go but up for that unit.
That's what we said last year but here we are....... Even worse than last year........ The one difference is we have some cap space to better address it. But we can't get in the weeds with stupid long term contacts either.

They’re trending downward hard and heading toward what’s likely about to be a rebuild, maybe of at least a few years, after around a 6-ish year or so ebb. The huge amount of cap space is nice, but this many problems, at this many positions, combined with signs of shedding veteran talent for their contract money is likely a sign of too much to correct in just a single offseason.

I agree, I think it will take two years of draft and free agency just to get the o line back to a respectable status. We also have to completely rebuild the secondary as well. Add needs at receiver, linebacker and TE........ and another running back.

J Rob & crew missed badly on Wilson and Rayduns. Now we are reaping what they sewed.

I saw a post on Twitter earlier where someone listed every one of our draft picks from the 2020, 2021, and 2022 classes. It is depressing how pathetic those drafts were for us, but it definitely paints a clearer picture of our current situation.

You almost have to be TRYING to be this bad at your job

He was finally fired and as long as we went to playoffs, all seemed well. Caught up with us last year and woes of poor offensive line and old kicker so glaring. The GM has a lot of money to finally work with as well as draft.

An improvement in our draft position
Yeah nothing really improves without teams like Commanders (vs Jets), Cardinals (vs Bears), or the Patriots (vs DEN) winning at this point.

And on top of that, any other teams the Titans played in the year (Chargers, Browns, Bengals, Colts, Ravens, Falcons, Steelers, Bucs, Jaguars, Dolphins, Texans) losing to make the overall strength of schedule weaker.
