The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

[Youtube]

Here is a question before you watch the video. Does the clowns on this show:

A. Talk about the hiring of Brian Callahan and give their thoughts on the fit with the Titans.

Or

B. Bring up the race card and whine about how Eric Bieniemy still hasn't gotten a HC job, while being completely ignorant to things pertaining the Titans.

P.S. I wonder if they are going to keep that same energy if Harbaugh gets hired by the Chargers or when Vrabel finds another job....

These clown as just lazy and looking for hits and sounds bites. Surprized they did not mention Kapernick.

Here’s the really big thing about Bieniemy. He’s never gotten a second interview. EVER. That obviously implies he rubs people the wrong way. The Commanders players were bitching about him in the offseason. Aaron Glenn has an average defense at best but he’s gotten a ton of interviews and is getting second interviews because he’s awesome with people and players love him. Coaching in the NFL is so much more than “are you a good play caller” (coughJoshMcDanielscough).

I don’t disagree with the overall premise that black coaches don’t always get a fair shake, but the Bieniemy stuff is so 2021.
I have a feeling that Eric B is going to be the coaching equivalent to Kap for the media.

Pretty sure LeSean McCoy also implied that he doesn't do anything.

Agreed. Williams screams bust. But then again so did Stroud. So who tf knows.
Stroud was a much more polished QB his last year in college. The only real knock I remember on him was his tendency to let the inside rush rattle him.

That being said I didn't think he would be as good as he was, but I expect there to be a sophomore slump for Stroud this year.

Williams couldn't handle the big stage this year.... But like you said... Who TF knows if that means he withers at the next level. Much of that could depend on where he lands.

Williams did the absolute opposite of impress this year. He crumbled under pressure and there's a case to be made he may not have been the best QB on his roster.
Yeah, he's a hard pass from me. Rather have Levis than him. Levis' issues are how he thinks and controlling his impulses. If Callahan can get in his brain and get him to play within the system, he has the physical tools. He may never be elite, but could be good enough. Will see.

This team has holes that can be filled with the draft and all of the cap space. Need at least one stud receiver, O-line, defense.
