Grade for Titans' expected signing of CB Chidobe Awuzie
Bryce Lazenby gives the Titans a near-perfect grade for their expected signing of CB Chidobe Awuzie.titanswire.usatoday.com
Idk why GMs are so dense. Find a head coach, let him tailor to the side of the ball he specializes in his way, hire a proven coach on the opposite side of the ball and let him tailor it his way. Then let your coaches tell you what they need to make your system work. Focus on the weakest side of the ball first and build up from there.I'm not sure what exactly our plan is, but this was always going to be a multi year rebuild. Jon Robinson might've been the worst drafting GM in his last 3 seasons in the league. We should have a young stud at RT, CB, and WR. But they were all 1st round busts. Minus Chig and McCreary you don't have a single sure fire starter from 18 other picks in those last 3 drafts (and listing Chig is being generous). I don't envy Ran.
He was an awesome player and a better ambassador for Nashville ...........but not a Titan anymore.Titans ain’t winning the Super Bowl anytime soon so if Henry gets one that will be great. He was an awesome Titan.
I understand what you're saying. I wish Tony Pollard the best at Tennessee plus he didn't stay in same Division or conference. He was an awesome player and a better ambassador for Nashville ...........but not a Titan anymore.
Plus.....no way I can root for Baltimore.
Honest, totally hypothetical question...............
If CJH left UT after a dozen years and a couple playoffs, and went to Texas.........would you hope he did great and won a NC? I don't think so.
Kinda apples to oranges, but............

Not a huge fan. I see your point then.Apples to oranges (pantone 151) for me. When it comes to the NFL I just want to see good football games, not a real diehard fan of any of the franchises even though I'd love to see the Titans win a SB. When it comes to collage ball it's UT and screw everyone else.
I agree, but he was also a big reason why we were so predictable on offense. He's always been a tell for the defense, a liability in the passing game.Titans ain’t winning the Super Bowl anytime soon so if Henry gets one that will be great. He was an awesome Titan.
WHY do Titans fans hope Henry "tears it up" in Baltimore?
He was great here, but he's gone. Hope he suck for the Ravens and they regret signing him. Once you leave..........bye. Plus......he's a Gump!
If he had gone somewhere besides Baltimore, or another AFC South team, I would be more apt to wish him "well." Not Baltimore. It's pretty normal for fans to follow a beloved guy when he leaves. Lions fans were so happy for Stafford. Grizzlies fans were so happy for Marc Gasol. You don't have to root for the Ravens and you can still be happy for him if/when he succeeds. It's not like he forced his way out or went to a division rival. Y'all are rebuilding. The odds that he gets in the way of anything for you guys are not good.
I do as well. Spotrac is showing the higher amount. With most of them showing the higher amount that is probably the right number, which changes how I view the signing.Conflicting reports on this one. Still seeing 3 years 36M.
