The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

The constant drama over every team getting new uniforms makes me laugh. Pretty much every time, the response is it looks awful.

People generally don't like change at first. But a lot change their minds over time, though sometimes these new uniforms simply do suck (Like the Jags).

This, saw where Nike said the point on the top part of the number is to represent the state of TN. After that I’ve looked at them differently.

I heard some interview where the numbers were to represent numbers being chiseled in stone. But I like the reason you heard better.

In the video they showed at the reveal the Nike people said it was to represent the state. ESPN said it was to represent numbers being chiseled into stone. I'm going with the Nike people

Good news - we have a NT. Bennie Logan signed. If he can return to the form he had with the Eagles before last season at the Chiefs - we are in good shape on the D-line.

Anybody feeling like we will be extremely improved next year or take a giant leap back with the new coach? I am not expecting 8-8 or 9-7. Either 11-12 wins or 6-7 wins.

I'm going with 10 or 11 wins. I agree that there's potential for both a really solid season or a disappointing one, but there's a few reasons why I'm choosing to be optimistic. LaFleur will do wonders for our offense, particularly Mariota. Speaking of which, it goes without saying that if Marcus can stay healthy it will do us a lot of favors, and I think he will if the offense is tailored to maximizing his strengths while minimizing his risk of injury. Despite the offensive ineptitude throughout the course of last season, there's still a lot of playmakers on that side of the ball (Walker, Matthews, Henry, Lewis, Taylor, Davis).

I also think our secondary is going to be one of the best in the NFL this year as well. Having Jackson, Ryan, and Butler all at corner and Byard at safety is going to cause a lot of trouble for opposing QB's, especially if we can create an effective pass rush (I hope we pick up Harold Landry in the first round to help with that).

Not every time; in cases like the Bills and Vikings, the fans loved them because it went back to a classic look. The Browns are already going to go back to their older look in a few years and the fans are happy.

Having a few days to look at them, they've grown on me. I'm ok with them, but if in about 10 years we go back to our older look, I wouldn't mind that either.

Campanaro signed for for a year as returner and back-up WR. Weems' replacement. Good returner at 11+ on punts and 26+ yards on KO's for the Ravens last season.

Both home games are attractive imo. I may try to make it to one of them.

I'm going to go up there for the Tampa Bay game. I like to watch Mariota defeat Winston every chance I can, even if it is just the preseason lol. I'm also planning on getting tickets to our game against the Pats in the regular season, but I'm almost scared of how much they'll set me back.
