The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

Really can't see how you can go back to Levis.

Why wouldn’t you? He either develops and wins and you have a QB or he doesnt and you have a high pick.

Theres no advantage to playing a guy no one thinks is good enough to start, so that you can maybe win 1-3 more games than you would with the younger QB

I’ve been a Titans fan since the beginning of their move here to Tennessee and always will be, but this team flat out sucks and is a disgrace. I’ve never in my life seen them this bad.

If you keep up with offseason stuff, it should’ve been expected. Had to get rid of numerous veterans and start to get younger over the offseason. We had the worst line and WRs in football last year, along with one of the worst secondaries.

There were more holes on this roster than you could patch in any one off season.

Nobody expected it to be this bad. This is beyond bad.

Coaching/Management are among the biggest issues with this team.... Tons of mental mistakes, especially on Special Teams that haven't been there for years....

Adams owns this dumpster fire

This team absolutely sucks.

For the ones who really, really follow this team, what will be the draft plan for next season?

What this team needs to do is trade back and get as many assets as possible since there are holes all over the roster. I dont think there is a QB worth taking in this draft.

What they will do is take an interior lineman, safety, or inside linebacker with a Top 5 pick...

James Pearce is predicted to go 4th to the Titans in a way too early 2025 mock draft by ESPN.

PFF ranks our offensive line 30th coming into the season.

I think some of y’all are being overly optimistic. There’s not a team in our division I feel confident in saying “we are better than them”.

Plenty of people did. We were projected to have a top 5 pick coming into the season and our roster on paper was worse than any roster in our division

Get a high level target for whoever the future QB is and continue building the oline. Maybe swing at a QB in the 2nd or 3rd (I listed 10 QBs or so the other day that would be worth a shot such as Milroe), or try to take a chance on a retread. Either way you look to make a value move (not a splash move) at QB , with plans to take one high in 2026 if it doesn’t work.

The main focus of the offseason though has to be improving the oline and the passing targets. You’ve got some high end WRs (Luther Burden for example) and TEs (Warren from Penn St for example)

Has the Adams family ever tried to sell the franchise
since 1960?
Not sure. Probably not, considering the manner in which you asked. So what, if that's the case? Doesn't contradict the point. Are there any heirs of Amy that can competently take it over down the road? That's important if you think they're never going to sell it.

I wonder what QBs are on the board in the second or third?

Milroe? Nussmeier? Ewers? Dart? Gabriel?

No way all those guys + Beck, Sanders, Allar, and Ward are all gone in the first. I like the depth of this QB class more than I like the top end talent.

Would allow us to take an elite weapon at the top of the draft (Tyler Warren or Luther Burden maybe) and then fill out the offensive line with the rest of our picks

Bumping because someone asked about offseason plan. I’d like us to take one of these QBs who falls to the second or 3rd round, or make a cheap move for a retread

I thought I asked a simle straight forward question. I've never heard that they would like to sell.
I think they make money off it, and the francise keeps going up in value. The current heirs might not be able to invest the proceeds from a sale that will bring them anything near the return they have now.
The kids(Amy) might just look at it as a business? Not that interested or emotionally tied to the team? I really don't know?
I doubt financial statements are available to see if they make a profit?
Sorry, she has 3 children. I've No idea what any of them do.

Idk, maybe. I could see 1 QB or < going top ten this season. I know that’s not the norm, but I just don’t see the top end talent in this class. Granted I can’t pretend I’ve seen a ton of plays for some of these guys
Anything can happen but I think cam will go
Top 5 before he will go to the second round.

Someone clarify this for me, please: the official stats have Deteoit had 61 total yards of passing, but Geoff’s stats say he was 12/15 for 85 yards? (And I don’t see anyone listed as having passsed for negative yardage as their final stat on the day).
