The one good aspect to Prime is that he would be very clear and direct to his bosses about things.... Amy don't like that... She wants yes men.... that is how the Titans wound up with a very unqualified GM in over his head in RanFire Callahan and Hire Deon and pick his son and lets get this party started!
I think people are having tough time because calling this a rebuild means there is some belief that this franchise and ownership can actually be successful in rebuilding.... They can't.
I've generally been with you on Team Amy but there are 2 things standing out for me:I posted the record since Amy took over and it’s not some horrific record like you’re pretending. Numerous winning seasons including a 12 win season that wasn’t that long ago
So why can’t they get there again?
I've generally been with you on Team Amy but there are 2 things standing out for me:
1. This has all felt very haphazard. We knew the AJ Brown trade and JRob's drafts were bad, but waiting until we're 7-2 or 7-3 and then making a move because we got blown out by AJB's team felt impulsive. Then siding with Ran and firing Vrabel (for some reasons that made sense) only to turn around and fire Ran a year later doesn't seem like there's that clear of a direction; Callahan has been worse than Ran and apparently may still be fired, but maybe not, but we couldn't just fire both of them on Monday like a bad team that has a plan? If we do keep Callahan, trying to make a GM hire while tied to a coach who has been bad doesn't seem very smart.
2. One thing we can evaluate about an owner is their hires, and while JRob and in turn Vrabel were overall successful hires, Ran and Callahan have not been. And the fact that we're trending downward doesn't seem good.

I agree it's a small sample. By trending downward I more meant that it feels like our coach/GM hires are getting worse. Not saying either should still be here but the JRob/Vrabel combo felt like a well-run organization at least until 2020 or 2021, and now I can't say I feel all that confident that's the case or that I have faith in us to find good replacements. That’s a small list of hires to judge anyone one. As far as the “trending downward” claim, this isn’t college football. No team can have long term success given the set up of the league, unless they have a young elite QB (the bengals can’t do it with one).
As far as JRob and his bad drafts, he had to historically great draft classes (Henry and Simmons, with Simmons being an even better class). That gave him a really long leash (deservingly so). But then he blew all that good will with a series of failed classes and trades/free agent blunders (Brown, Dupree, Julio Jones, etc)
I even agree with some of what you’re saying (should’ve kept Vrabel and given Ron more time if you’re going to fire Vrabel in favor of Ron). But Ron has not showed much promise with his draft classes so far, either. So if you have the top pick, I am not sure you want him making it. But I do think we overall need more stability. So hopefully whoever is hired gets a longer leash.
But none of that is enough for me to believe we are doomed, we can never win under Amy (we already have), or that she should sell the franchise. I think we need more data than 4 hires to make such bold proclamations
