The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

Zeitler is a really good pick up. No excuses for the OL now. But we should definitely spend a mid round pick or 2 on some development OLs, imo. I'm also ok with not cutting NPF. I think he's solid depth and maybe he can be developed at RG.

Getting anything for Murray was pretty frigging sweet. He's easily replaceable. But we do need someone. I would prefer not to go into the season with rookies or career backups at multiple LB spots.

Brandon Allen signing with Titans.

Not sure what we're doing...... We're going to get Cam Ward........... Heard respected analyst compare him to McNair.......I didn't see it but I'm not a professional either.

Yeah, not a great situation. But, IMO, that is the best possible play at this point.

Grab him and hope he learns to chill with maturity.

Coming out of college, I never thought Lamar Jackson would pan out.

Now, I hate to play Lamar Jackson. He grew up into a top-10 QB.

The offense was built completely around him. This staff isn't going to get that kind of time. I think a rookie QB gets you 2 years. Best case scenario IMO would have been a bridge guy this year, hell run Levis back and draft your guy next year.

In order to live and die by it I guess they absolutely believe in Ward's ability. We'll see

It is such a key spot, and with the way Titans bungle things, heck...I would take QB's back to back years with early picks.

Gotta find one to be the face of the new stadium. It ain't Levis. It probably ain't Ward.

But I sure don't want Deion hanging around the team.

I would not be surprised if they take him for no other reasons than they can't find a trade partner willing to give what they want and they don't want the headache (potentially) of Sanders. Abdul Carter's injury probably keeps him from going #1. Travis Hunter, while wildly talented, is going to be difficult to project in the NFL. The Titans seem to be stuck with taking Ward. Maybe the guy is amazing, maybe not. He has to be bettter than mayo man.

When you already run a 4.6, losing another step through injury and/or age can be all it takes.

With that said, he’d be a good signing
Definitely would be. Veteran presence who can make the key catches. Just need to manage his usage a bit to max his performance.

Yep, also always the chance his injuries are just the kind that took more than a year for him to be fully healthy from.

For example I think Rodgers may be significantly better this year than last

Wouldn’t mind us taking a chance on Diggs and maybe bringing in Russell Wilson to start until Ward is ready or get us through the season if we trade down
That would be ideal in my book. We need to stabilize the offense and prepare the QB of the future.

So Ward is number 1. I don't love it. But I don't hate it. Experienced college QBs are finding a lot of success of recent years, and there aren't many as experienced as Ward. My only issue is that he isn't #1 overall caliber QB in most any other recent draft besides 2021. Of course, that doesn't always matter. Bryce Young, Caleb Williams, and T-Law haven't done **** either.

I'm guessing we trade out of 35 now to acquire more picks.

Will Levis coming up in trade talks. Hopefully we can work out a trade like the Sam Howell trade last year to move back into the top 100.
