The Official Tennessee Titans thread IV

Oh great Gabbert is hurt and now we're forced to put a less than 100% Marcus against this defense. Maybe we should have invested in a 3rd QB...

If they didn't sign a 3rd QB after the Mariota injury, just dumb. Should've had 1 from the get go given his injury history.

I have no earthly idea how the coaching staff and FO didn't sign one. What is the logic behind the idea that Marcus is too hurt to start but healthy enough to be the active back-up?

It's not like QB isn't the most important position on the team or anything. Who is the back-up now - Dion Lewis? Jags will be bringing the blitz the rest of the game, I'm sure.

Probably a TE (or a WR that played QB in college) if all QBs go down. That tends to be where coaches go when those worst-case scenarios actually happen.

And it looks like we might have just lost one of our starting CBs on that punt return: Adoree Jackson looks like he might be hurt.

Maybe its time to take Jackson off of punt returns, tired of seeing him get up hurt. Pretty much happened every return he had last year too.

This is just an ugly, ugly game. We can't run it, they can. That will be the difference.

Jacksonville feels like they are due for a big play, been close a couple of times.
