I’m really not convinced that’s the issue. We’ve had some decent years under Amy.

It is the issue. Amy is a worse owner than her dad, at least her dad had some experienced football people in the executive offices he listened to. For awhile at least.

Those were in spite of her, not because of her. She's mishandled personnel decisions from the instant she took control of the team, beginning with the Mike Mularkey "he's the interim HC, just kidding" call.

The NFL is a closed system with rules designed to make bad teams better.

Why would he demote himself? He'd be taking effectively the same job for a much worse team.

From the description they've put out, they are looking for their next "GM" to be basically a glorified scout.

It doesn't matter. If you can get a pick of value for him, you do it. Cause when his current deal is up, he gone.

The problem is everyone who wants him knows this. So why trade away capital when you can wait? Guess someone just has to be desperate though

I liked Vrabel fine. And SOME players liked him. He was extremely polarizing. Some players lived him, others hated him. I will say this, I know from good authority, some people in the building, that he hurt us as well, some players, free agents, would not entertain the thought of playing for him.

He played favorites and was unprofessional.

I can see that but mostly everyone in this franchise minus his time here have been losers and have only known losing. Now he shares blame for the fall, but some of the management decisions forced upon him were disastrous.

While I have very high opinion of him, to me his biggest mistake was OC hires after Arthur left. But its also baffling to me that after he got fired in Atlanta, it wouldn't have been that far of a stretch that he could have wound up back at Tennessee over Crapsburgh

His biggest knock for me as well. Good goodies don't insist on keeping had assistants. Vrabel's downfall was pay due to his ego..... Hopefully he learned from that.

It's patently obvious she operates on impulse, without any kind of overarching plan for the organization.

HC and GM jobs in Tennessee may never be more "appealing" than they were yesterday morning.

#1 pick and a brand new stadium right around the corner.......She blew her opportunity to clean house and start over with a greater pool of candidates.....or shock the world and Hire Deion and draft Shedeur.

Now, she made it less appealing than it was. Nice Job!




and......as an owner, if you only care about the money, then fine............the above options will excite the fan base no matter what, and she makes more money.

I have no knowledge however, Titans fired the GM. Assume the new GM will decide on whether to keep or fire the head coach. It is my understanding that Callahan will not be part of the hiring process. Callhan was highly thought of last year by most teams. Why pay a buyout to Callahan if the new GM wants to keep him? IMO, this firing is about who selects the draft pics and free agency.

In all honesty I don’t think the results have been bad. I also think we very much needed to tear things down last season and likely did so one season late, so I expected poor results this years

That would make this franchise 100% dysfunctional. If true I don't understand anything they've done. They will have insured they have zero quality General Managers interested and scrape for the dregs.

That would mean AAS is either listening to and acting on horrible advice or she's a buffoon........
