It wouldn't shock me if Vols won today, and then Marshall Mathers scores 40 and Ole Miss beats UT on Wednesday.

Come out with the sane effort we did against UK, but hopefully hitting shots like we did against LSU and we could pull this one out.

Would like to see Barton and Richardson involved early so that they're involved 40 minutes. Would also like to see the Kentucky version of Jarnell Stokes.

Leaving in about an hour and a half. Will be in Gainesville by 2. Hit a couple of bars and going to the game.

UT beats Florida today and then losses 2 out of the next 3... that's just what we've come to expect with a Cuonzo Martin UT basketball team. No consistency!

01/29/14 vs. Ole Miss*
02/01/14 at Alabama
02/05/14 at Vanderbilt

Richardson seems to bring it on the defensive end every night, but does Barton strike you as the type of guy who's offense effects his defense?

I say the Kentucky game last week was just as crucial and we blew it. If we lose this, it's over in my opinion.

Haven't seen it yet. Pgs aren't blowing by him and causing problems. Last game he struggled offensively but held his man in check pretty much the whole game and had his hands on the ball defensively several times.
Need him to hit some open shots, penetrate a little more. D is fine.

So, if we lose this game is our tourney chance done with short of winning sec tourney??
Hell No.
As some would say, 'This is one we're supposed to lose.'
Plus we get 2 shots at them.

I disagree. No such thing as "supposed to lose". You have to have quality wins in basketball to make the dance. And why are we supposed to lose!??! Cuonzo has been here three years and there is absolutely no reason Florida should even be better than us!! This is what kills me!! Ugh!!

Yeah, I hate that expression too, but it's used on here quite often.
Hypothetically speaking we could lose to FLA twice and still make the dance at a lower seed. We just need to finish third SEC and have an RPI better than 50.

Not even UK and Florida are games we are expected to lose.

What!??! I hope that is sarcasm. No true real fan would say this and be content with it. And if we r "supposed to lose" them, that's why they are must wins! When you can't beat mediocre NC state teams, you have to win these games to prove they were a fluke. Only way we win today is if McRae puts up 30 again!
