key to this game is owning the paint, and we should, perimeter defense and hitting a higher percentage of our fewer 3s..

If Xavier and VA hold their positions, they are both RPI 1-25 wins. Can't get much more quality than that.

I'm pretty sure you're Cuonzo himself. So with a perspective like that, we r bound to lose!

Guys: has it really come to this with Tennessee basketball!?? Accepting losses to Florida because we are "supposed to lose"!!???" In the words of Ed Lover: "c'mon son!". If we lose this game, it will be unacceptable and I won't want to watch this team in the dance even if they make it. This is a must win and saying it's not is foolish and you are just drinking the Cuonzo Aid.

This line of thinking absolutely kills me. There are two issues here: no one wants to lose! However, a loss will not kill us getting in the tournament as long as we take care of our other business. We also have another shot at them at home. These two concepts are not mutually exclusive. This is not a must win- that is what people are trying to say. But, hell yes, we want to win. It is not difficult to understand.

And unlike the Rupp game, they don't have the quality bigs to keep throwing at you.

No turnovers. If we have more than 10 we're screwed. I predict Barton finds his shot and we win by 7. McRae will hit a crucial three with 4 mins left in regulation.

Yep. I think we win big on the glass. We have enough athleticism in the back-court to minimize their transition game. Would be a nice win for the Vols..

Law of averages tells me that it just isn't likely for us to beat Florida again. It has been a nice run though.
