Too bad I'm not in Vegas and these bet sites aren't easier to get paid off...if o/u is 160 tonight that's just about free money.

I said several weeks ago on this site when the Vols were still lurking at the bottom quadrant of the SEC that I felt the Vols could optimistically go 12-6 conference (20-10 overall) with a little luck and effort. If the Vols keep rolling the way they’ve been for the past 5 games, that looks like a distinct possibility. For the first time this season, I can say I actually feel confident in the Vols for the upcoming game, although I did like our chances going into the KY game at home without Noel. Not only are the Vols on fire, but FL will come limping into TB Arena with an undermanned roster. The gators do not need this win as badly as the Vols need this win. Donovan’s boys are probably going to win the regular season title outright no matter what happens in Knoxville, so there’s no reason for them to risk losing another starter by playing too aggressively. That presents a greater opportunity for the Vols to take advantage of the situation and extend the winning streak to six games. Surely, that’ll get the attention of the bubble-predictors. Simply put, there will be no rational excuse for losing to the gators on Tuesday night. Go Vols!

And at 124 or 125, I'm taking the over

I agree with this, but at 160 I'm drooling over the under. You wanna place a friendly bet on the over at 160, cause I'll gladly take the under.

To me 120 is too low and 160 way top high, and the fact different sites are varying that much makes me think Vegas has no idea how this is gonna go down. Personally if I was setting the line it'd probably be about 135.

The line is worrisome. Vegas usually knows what they are doing. Although a previous poster's point about different groups of people having differenct perceptions about the teams made me feel a litter better. Never really thought about that.

There's an article in the Gainesville Sun today about the various problems we have matching up with your team:

Stokes, Tennessee frontcourt could pose big problem for injury-depleted Gators | Gatorsports.com

Coach Donovan has a lot of nice things to say about Jarnell Stokes. Apparently, he tried to recruit him out of Memphis and also selected him to play on his U.S. Under 18 team that won gold at the FIBA Americas championship in Brazil. I think Stokes will have a huge game tonight and really beat us down inside. Hopefully Patric Young is up for the challenge, but this game has "Big Orange Beat Down" written all over it.

Its B-Ball time in Tennessee!!! I feel like the TBA rims(I kid, it just seems like a lot of kids have career highs at our place) will cause another heater for one of Fl. shooters.(more than likely Boykin)
Close game but;
UT 77
FL 70

Hopefully we can make free throws down the stretch.

Good luck in the game tonight, guys. Obviously, this is huge for UT to make a case for getting into the tourney. Honestly, I don't see Florida securing a 1-seed, anyway, but I think with even a fair performance in the SEC tournament and a couple more regular season wins, we are at least a 3 seed, maybe a 2, and so this game is not likely to matter a lot in the scheme of things for UF.
