Guys, I know this sucks BAD. But let's look at it with a bit of optimism-

Coming into this year, I was hoping for 3 things:

- signature win.... Check
- great recruiting class.... Check so far with top 10 likely
- and the big one- a bowl game.... Still possible here in November

I know this does make us feel warm and fuzzy when we screw the pooch as we are today, but we are still on track for a good season considering our depth, talent and schedule!

Can't wait to hear everyone in the local sports media and the majority of posters on VN start schilling for the Coaching staff and talking about:
1. how the team wasn't ready to play;
2. how tough the schedule has been;
3. lack of depth;
4. lack of talent;
5. poor execution;
6. lack of speed;
7. freshman qb;
8. bad angles;
9. players out of position;
10. punt and kick off problems.

But there will be few criticisms of CBJ and his staff with the exception of what is posted on this board. When will the team's performance ever be a reflection on CBJ and his staff????

We have no outside contain. It's been that way all year. It is not really because we are out of position. As much as I've questioned coaching today, I still think it's on talent/speed deficiency in key areas.

No. A good season is showing improvement every week, and competing against every opponent. I'd rather go 4-8 and played to a one touchdown loss in those 8 games than get blown out against every decent opponent except one or two.

We have not seen consistent improvement from week to week, and no matter which way you cut it, that falls on coaching.
