The Official Tennessee vs. #9 Auburn Game Thread, 12pm ET(11/09/13), ESPN

Serious question: Are the defensive players tackling in practice? Some of our D looks like flag football. Like, they're diving and grabbing dudes at the belt, rather than trying to, y'know, tackle. It's weird.

We have no outside contain. It's been that way all year. It is not really because we are out of position. As much as I've questioned coaching today, I still think it's on talent/speed deficiency in key areas.

And the announcer from the sideline just seconded...

Fulmer started this crap when he got lazy and complacent.

Unfortunately, we thought that the next coach we get it quickly turned around... and here we are 5 years later.

looking back,have would have changed it faster than the ones that have follwed

Can't wait to hear everyone in the local sports media and the majority of posters on VN start schilling for the Coaching staff and talking about:
1. how the team wasn't ready to play;
2. how tough the schedule has been;
3. lack of depth;
4. lack of talent;
5. poor execution;
6. lack of speed;
7. freshman qb;
8. bad angles;
9. players out of position;
10. punt and kick off problems.

But there will be few criticisms of CBJ and his staff with the exception of what is posted on this board. When will the team's performance ever be a reflection on CBJ and his staff????

When he gets his players in.

Auburn 55 is the most points put up at Neyland Stadium in history of Vols football.

2013 Auburn - 55
1988 Washington St. - 52
2010 Oregon - 48
1940's Vandy - 45

UNBELIEVABLE.

Guys, obviously no one truly expected us to come in and blow them out. Hardly anyone that's being honest can say they expected a win. But one thing we want to see is a watchable game. This isn't even tolerable.

Nope. The coaching staff cannot be blamed apparently.
