I’m disappointed in the outcome, no doubt, but I am so proud of this team and these coaches. It took us 26 years to play for a championship, but the rest of the SEC has been put on notice. Dave Van Horn is real d-bag if we’re being honest. He isn’t a class act at all. I’ll be real excited when they once again fail to win the CWS. He doesn’t deserve it.

Interesting. How do you know him? I ask because I know him in a different capacity. I can tell you that when my dad and I had a special needs team (played multiple sports to encourage other special needs kids across the southeast to be active), Van Horn and Chris Pollard (Duke) were the two coaches that immediately not only agreed to help, but they recruited several coaches that were reluctant to step up until Van Horn in particular began making calls. This includes Vitello who immediately changed his no to a yes once Van Horn contacted him. Van Horn continues to send stuff to the kids (it might be an assistant that does it for him, but he signs it). I have found him to be very much a class act. I also know Tony uses the word "gracious", "mentor" and "classy" when describing Van Horn.
