Does the Clemson player that got ejected have to sit out the next game?

Local news said he has to sit their noon game tomorrow. Hopefully, it’s a moot point and he won’t be able to play the Vols again.

This game goes to show the road record is deceiving. We played a lot of close games that could have went the other way. Im so proud of these boys tonight. I questioned some of the coaching decisions tonight . But as fans thats what we do. We talk about it like what we would do. But thats why he makes the big bucks and we are on oxygen recovering from light heart attacks after that game. Way to go Boys. Bring the Super Regional to Knoxville.

You are correct…. TV earned his salary tonight. So many twist and turn. I think we only used 3 pitcher’s today and Clemson used at least 8… maybe more!

My biggest questions was running Payne for Burke and Jaselove for Merritt neither of them that much faster and you took both bats out of the game. Tony coached very well and his gut to use Burns like that paid off. We have alot of arms still available. Hope tomorrow both teams use up every arm they have in 12-11 game. In CHRIST Alone

I had to pick up my wife @ the airport but my son gave me play by play, . My stomach was in knots, esp when Clemson had bases loaded w no outs.

I’m pretty sure everyone on the team is faster than Burke. In hindsight, it did stink taking him out of the lineup. However, Payne did his job with two bunts.
