The Official Tennessee vs. Georgia Game Thread, 9:00pm ET, ESPNU

I don't think we have to get over ourselves when we have two very good players and good role players, and the team has struggled. Whether its coaching or players not playing together, it's a problem. You realized tonight that this team plays well when playing together. I think they play hard almost all the time, but I don't know that they play together. McRae has had some bad body language lately- don't know why people are upset at that being said. I just wonder if its been a big issue.

Just a guess, but maybe he knows his senior season is going down the drain?

Also to return on bto's comments from last night.

Barton was 0-7 during the misso game. Why no mention of him shooting to much? Also 3-9 was Richardson.

To add onto that. Barton, Maymon, and Richardson combined to go 5-22 from the field. McRae was 10-23.

We can both agree that Stokes should of received the ball on every possession in the misso game.

I think McRae has been playing hard- no issue with that from me. But, at some point, you have to stay focused within the team. I know he has become frustrated for losing, but I wonder if he is trying to do too much. Last night showed that if we feed Stokes first, then our team plays well. Stokes will pass if he is doubled or not open. Stokes opens it up more for McRae, which actually helps McRae more- kind of ironic.

I understand that Barton could have helped in a couple of our losses. But, McRae simply doesn't need 20 shots for this team to win. I am just saying that his body language hasn't been the best.

Those comments were for bto. Sorry if you thought they were directed at you.

During the last two games McRae has been trying to get all the shots, even when Stokes is open down low. If you haven't noticed, McRae doesn't pass to Stokes to often. McRae would rather drive and kick it out to Stokes (or so it seems).

A poster did a breakdown of McRae's shot attempts and points and the results of those games.

We aren't winning much when he's taking 15+ shots and scoring 30+ points (see Missouri). This team is best when the ball goes inside and our offense goes from there. What Jarnell said was telling, you pass it to me and I'm not gonna try to score on 3&4 guys, I'll find the open man.
