The Official Tennessee vs LSU CWS Game Thread (Tues. 6/20 7PM EST ESPN)

Generally, pitching has kept games close. Batting this year has been an adventure. Even lately some of the swings have been awful. Gonna have to find better production up and down the line up next year.

If Burke don’t get rid of his slow pitch softball stance he’s never gonna hit elite pitching , there’s not another player in Omaha with their feet as close together as his are ,I’m hoping some of his struggles leads to some changes

I’m (relatively) fine losing. This season was an incredible success all things considered and many more trips to Omaha are on the way, I’m sure. We have a young, energetic coach who’s winning consistently and recruiting lights out. The way we lost is just nauseating.

I would be shocked if we didn't have the worst batting team in Omaha and it just decided to show up tonight. Outside of Dickey and CMO no hitter was what you would consider consistently clutch. Zane and Merrit did it a couple of times but this was just a weak offensive team with a catcher batting sub .180. The fully unexplainable defensive blunders decided to show back up after disappearing as well. All in all a successful season that made it to Omaha for a team that looked dead in the water in early April.
Ahuna showed up and I was pleasantly surprised.
