As bad as Heupel made Kelly look last Oct, Johnson has done it to Vitello. Game 1 they were great positioning their players and tonight Tennessee has looked alittle outclassed coaching-wise.

We have had runners on 2nd and 3rd or bases loaded multiple times. But yet strike out when we need a base hit. I hope we start all 8 freshman next year behind Burns and Beam.

Just can’t always wait for 2 outs to hit or get on base.

We had a good year! TV had to rebuild the entire lineup from a year ago, our pitching staff did an outstanding job, we improved as the year went on and we have the best coach in college baseball. It hurts to lose but brighter days are ahead. GO VOLS!

True, he and Beam were the heroes tonight. Maui is such a tough read because he had a good season but expectations were so high it felt like a let down.

It was team pitching performance for sure. Scored a run last inning without even getting a hit.

Ok fair enough but we can’t win with 0 runs on the board either

Well, that will do it. It’s a shame that the lineup couldn’t give Drew any run support. He had a solid performance. We had our chances, just kept getting in our own way. Left too many on base and had costly errors.

Overall, I’m proud of the team. They got a lot farther than I thought they would.

Baseball is a fickle game. Some days it’s all laughs and other days it’s a struggle to do anything right.
