Tough game. Team overachieved in post season. Need to recruit, recruit, recruit. See everyone in Sept.

Yep, I agree, they overachieved getting as far as they did. Some clutch 2 out hitting late in the year helped that. But Tony has to find some production at the plate across the line up, even if the player is not as good as someone else defensively. I've seen some very woeful at bars this year...just bad.

Great accomplishment to even get to the World Series for any team.

The way this team looked the first half of the season made the remained of the season look abysmal. But the team turned it around a made a tremendous run.

We fell well short this game, but had a good 2nd half of the season. We bounced back. TV made some good adjustments. I'm not sure anyone would have thought we would have made it this far, winning a game in Omaha, after losing to TN Tech.

Me too but not because of sourer grapes. More frustration in seeing the teams playing equal except one made inconvenient mistake after another.

Agree 100%. Early in the year I knew our pitching wasn’t as good as advertised. We have to score runs and a lot of them because we’re going to give them up. We can’t live by the long ball all the time and the 2 out hot streaks aren’t always successful.

Don’t make Sense why Dicky not catching, and Dryling and Tears not playing corner outfield spot. You can not convince me we are that much worse with Tears and Dryling in lineup over Stark and Scott.

I am VERY happy to have made it to the CWS and win a game for the first time since 2001. This is a disappointing ending but I told myself when the NCAAs began, getting here and winning 1 would be a great season. I am happy.

I will NEVER get over the disappointment from last year but no one can say this team underachieved when you look at the season as a whole.
