I’m wearing orange tinted glasses but my wife asked me last night after the WF-LSU game what my thoughts are going forward and I said if we win tomorrow I legit believe the CWS finals features us vs. UF. If it comes down to that then I think UF gets us due to staff fatigue only. I see UF coming out of their side unscathed so that’s 3 games in 8 days. They’d have to be licking their chops with the rest they would have.

Well this is where as an individual I worry about my future if I'm Skenes, I would tell JJ I'm making a business decision and will refuse to go out there. Personally don't like Skenes or LSU but I wouldn't jeopardize my future for anything

I doubt seriously Jay Johnson would put that decision on Skenes. Actually JJ may need to tell him to sit his ass down and behave!

Your probably correct,the team is important but he needs to worry about himself and his future eventually.May be a bad example to some the pitcher for the Giants sacrificed himself for a World Championship and that was great but he was never the same after that actually was demoted or released by Diamondbacks this season.

My dad asked me while we were viewing the first Tennessee-LSU game on television if Charles Schwab Park is a college run facility or is it home to a minor league baseball team?

It's Creighton University's home field. But I think it was built by the City of Omaha for the CWS, if I am not mistaken.
