The Official Tennessee vs LSU CWS Game Thread (Tues. 6/20 7PM EST ESPN)

I totally agree that LSUs Achilles hill all year has been the bull pen. After Skeens their staff is just good. However they won 19 league games and that offense can be nasty if they get going. I see this as another close game in this great CWS thus far.
Am I remembering correctly that Tenn has lost by the widest margin and also won by the widest margin of the games played thus far? If you love college baseball, this has been a great Series.

This confuses me, not to be "trying too hard", but lots of conflicting info out there

NCAA Pitching Rules in 2023: All the Updated Rules

I guess we'll see tonight.

GBO and God Bless Tony Vitello
This is definitely conflicting information. It has not been enforced as we have seen 156 pitches thrown by a Pitcher in the Regionals.
I have no idea how many times the 115 count and 110 Counts have been exceeded, but I am willing to bet this has been numerous times in the Regular season and in the Postseason as well.

For LSU, I expect Riley Cooper followed by whatever other lefties they have.

For the Vols, hoping the Beamer can have a good night. Might as well follow him with AJ Russell. We're going to need his contributions before it is over. Vollie and Camden can be the usual firemen tonight.

I’m hearing Skenes is definitely going tonight!
He’s gonna use his left arm instead of his right. Apparently he throws 150 MPH fast ball with his left arm and a change up that literally comes to a complete stop in mid-air.

Saw this on a message board so it’s most likely legit.

Yes, it looks like that website is pulling CT high school rules. The NCAA rule books are all available online — baseball here, for anyone who wants to personally review. But there are no pitch count rules.[/QUOTE
Absolutely no rules….I doubt any Reputable Coach would jeopardize a player’s career.

The LSU social media dudes seem pessimistic in scoping around. They have transitioned the hope of their season to knock us out.

Did he learn that from the Wake Forest pitching lab?
