Anyone on here drive a cab? We need to have a "plant" in place to pick up Andy Kennedy for instigation purposes. With any luck, history will repeat itself and Kennedy will be posting bail while his team is getting handled in TBA.

And with the SEC being so bad this year, we're probably only going to get 4 in the dance again.
Looking like we'll be 5th behind Ole Miss.

A little early to be deciding how many get in from the SEC. It really hinges on the upper teams not taking bad losses or home losses. UT can lose to an Ole Miss on the road and that shouldn't hurt them to bad. It's losing at Vandy or Auburn or LSU (or even worse losing to them at home) that is going to knock a team off the bubble.

Will be an interesting test to see what we're gonna do as an offense. UT plays slower and low scoring typically, but ole miss likes to play fast and score in the 80s.

I think there's a fine line for this team with tempo. You go too fast and our transition D is bad, and our half court D gets no chance. We get sloppy sometimes in the open court and results in TOs. However, obviously as shown against Memphis, when we run we do score some points.

So....I'm very interested to see what we do. Also, I know some want golden and Mcbee benched (and after last game I did too), but I think CCM is probably hoping those 2 snap out before we head on the road. It's unlikely skylar or trae snap out at Bama or Kentucky, so he's probably hoping they snap out at home and he'll feel much better heading into those road games.

For this team and their chances, it'd be ideal if trae and skylar came out tonight hitting and got their confidence back. Ole Miss doesn't have a lightning quick PG either, so that's good news.

They're good at creating turnover, but not in transition. Typically it's the length and athleticism of their front court that gives teams fits.

Got a feeling Jordy and JRich continue to improve and wouldn't be surprised if they both have 15 point plus games. I just hope we can dominate on the inside and make it easier on the perimeter.

I think we win in the end 64-59

If we lose tonight it's going to be hard for me to believe in this team moving forward, at least this year.

Gotta win the home games. Period. Especially in conference. The Memphis loss was dumb and we shouldn't have allowed it; a loss tonight would get things steamrolling in the wrong direction.

This team will struggle on the road, so we can hardly afford to lose conference home games.

UT RPI dropped 30ish spots after losing to Memphis. Home losses hurt. A couple road wins and UT should be back in the mix but right now an RPI in the 70's with no real eye-popping wins means UT is off the bubble.

Good point on the home loss. But not sure will how low the overall SEC RPI ratings are that just a couple of wins will make up for that loss. However a big road win Jan. 15th would help a lot!:rock:

Marshall Henderson is the leading scorer in the SEC, at 18+ PPG. Guy can stroke it from 3 and will pull from anywhere, averages 10 three point attempts a game. I assume JRich will draw him, and I feel good about JRich shutting him down. Henderson is 6'2" and isn't super athletic (he's white) so JRich's height length should be difficult for him to shoot over.

The guy that worries me most is Murphy Holloway. Athletic 4 who us very aggressive and high energy, Kenny and probably Reese will get a crack at him.
