Dont think so

If Game 1 is still in progress at 2pm Central, they’re not going to start Game 2 at 2pm Central, so it’s not “whichever comes first”. They mean Game 2 starts at 2pm unless Game 1 continues beyond 1:05pm - if that happens, they’ll go with the 55-minute break after Game 1. Basically - ‘whichever comes second’.

They're not gonna beat us twice tomorrow.
I dunno, they have momentum, however, I think the coaching staff and the players maybe had a "reprieve from the Governor" and at least postponed an execution. I wasn't thrilled about the way the game was going and think the opportunity for an overnight "wakeup call" might get their heads in a different place on Sunday. The rain might just have been a blessing. Let's hope.

Reminds me of the Oklahoma game, but it was them that got the wake-up call.

That was @Orange. who laughed at you. I would never laugh at anyone while they were attempting to survive a weekend in Hattiesburg!
@Volprofch05 is disingenuously changing the subject, @Volstylexx. I emphatically am not the one who laughed at you for asking what you missed.

Didn't think of it. 😂

I was just trying to help a brother out with some recommendations. But it sounds like you did fine.

I’m assuming we still see Sewell on the mound starting it off tomorrow? Also, I’m no conspiracy theorist or “everyone is out to get Tennessee” kind of fan but I’m gonna be honest… the NCAA really really botched this entire thing.

1. The host site should’ve been Knoxville
2. Since the host site is Hattiesburg, you would think they would’ve moved the game up knowing the weather that was 100% gonna happen from the get-go
3. You start the series on a Saturday, given that you know the weather forecast already, and put yourself in a scenario where you force a doubleheader in a freaking super regional because you can’t push the games back any further in the week.

Regardless if this delay is an advantage or disadvantage for us, the NCAA and their management of almost everything is piss freaking poor!

I thought things wee bad here with the weather… back home in Houston tonight it’s nasty. I don’t know what concerns me more. The fact that there is grapefruit sized hail in the storm system moving in, or the fact that the scale accounts for “bowling ball” sized hail. I mean there are a lot of meteorologists on the forum, is that really possible??

I like the fact the rain stopped the trajectory of that game. Our depth will carry day today
