Well I expect we see their ace lefty storm the rest of the way in game 1 and then tanner hall is game 2 where they will let him throw 130 pitches.. we are for sure gonna have to bring it! But I got some faith in us!

So do I. I think it gave us an opportunity to reset and refocus. If our pitching can continue hold the Eagles to 4 runs, I think it’ll give our lineup a chance to catch up. Granted, there has to be more competitive ABs and patience at the plate. I’m curious who starts today in Game #1 for Southern Miss. I’d be surprised if they see Oldham again. Will we see Hall early or is he still set for Game #2? We may still have Camden as he didn’t pitch much in the game in Game #1,

Storm will prob pitch for so miss.. he’s a dominate lefty out of the pen who gave them 5.2 innings last outing with 10ks and on the year has an era around 2.61

Thanks for Storm’s profile. Yes, it seems likely that he’ll get the start and try to close the game out for the Eagles. While our lineup has struggled with lefties, we were better last week against Charlotte in game #1 of the Regional. So, we’ll see how it goes.

Are we on TV or ESPN plus for the suspended game at 12;00? I see our second game is at 3:00 on ESPNU if it stands.

Tough row to hoe. Have to come back from 4 down against (likely) Storm, a tough lefty, then face Hall in G2. Honestly, I like our chances better against Hall. Best case scenario, I think, is we beat USM in G2 and force a G3. Dollander is going to have to be on today.

If we can make them go to their bullpen early, that would be to our advantage. Teams that are winning don't like weather delays, it disrupts their mojo, while the team losing gets to reset. Let's hope it works out in orange favor!!

Well they are going to their bullpen with Storm. But we’re in the 6th inning already.

At least Hall is a RHP. If Dollander has his good stuff today and we can get to Hall, we have a chance in that game. Better than our chances of coming back in G1, IMO.

Thought it was the 5th? We still have 14 outs before the game is decided. I think we hit Storm better than Odom, but maybe that is wishful thinking.
