One possible positive. If rain interrupts a game, it might give us the advantage when play resumes since we've got guys who can and have started in our pen. Not up on S Miss but I kinda doubt they'd have that luxury. Not sure many teams can match our pitching depth.

Agree! Yes they have a nice baseball program but no way they should of hosted over the best new environment in the country. This will only add a bigger chip to our team and should help. Let’s get another sweep and onto the CWS.

Yep. This team had opportunities to host but they let it slip away. Lesson learned for next season perhaps.

Lol no it doesn't. RPI and SOS points to TN, TN won a tougher regional. TN has the better atmosphere.

Practice accommodation, everything.

Tennessee is probably worst in the conference or only in front of missouri when it comes to total baseball facilities. It’s what makes his recruiting so unbelievable to me.

Not true - stadiums are basically the same size. TN RPI > USM RPI. Ease to get into to - Knoxville better. You have on USM glasses.

The only reason they are hosting is due to the coach retiring and the committee wanting to give USM the best chance to win.

If we’re truly deserving of Omaha we should win whether it’s in Hattiesburg, Knoxville, or on the moon. We have the better talent.
