Help me understand this. With 3 quality starters plus Burns, Zander, Cam and AJ as long relief/starter options I don’t see how the delay hurts us worse. Their depth isn’t as good as ours so if they go Johnny Staff today after 2 innings today I see them being in more trouble from here on out. They better hope Hall can go 7+ tomorrow in that scenario IMO.

If we lose Lindsey due to delay, then we have Burns or Halverson to follow that up once’s paly resumes. I think the more delays the more it favors is even more. We have 2 former Friday night guys coming out of the Bullpen. Don’t think USM does, hell they had tostart their best pitchers twice in 3 days to get out of the regionals.

We have great pitching depth, but when you have 3 high quality starters compared to just 1 for USM, we’ll be hurt worse by delays messing with our rotation because USM is likely going to Johnny Whole Staff other than Tanner Hall day anyway. I’d hate to only see Lindsey pitch 1-2 innings considering he’s been electric lately and arguably our best pitcher.

Good point. I hadn't thought of it like that. The forecast now says thunderstorms are possible after 4PM CT, so hopefully they can get as much as the game played in 2 hours as possible. Unfortunately, the weather is so unpredictable this time of year.

I think same rules apply; you have 3 days to play 3 games.

So game starts at 3, right when the rain and thunderstorms are likely and they don't clear until I think around 9. Probably going to be a very long day for the team.

They are on Central time game start at 2 and rain in at 4.

I have no idea either. It seems like regular season and SEC can do this at will. I know many midweek games at LNS wree changed and I had to adjust my plans last minute.
