So how long would they wait out a delay before they push it to the next day? It looks like they may be able to start the game, get through maybe 1 or 2 innings then it all goes downhill for 5 to 6 hours.

They’ll wait it out all day long until the last second before they push the games back an extra day. They really want to keep it on schedule. There were a lot of games in the regionals that didn’t start til after 11 pm

The best girlfriend story is Jordan becks sophomore year. They rode him hard and heavy about a girl. We were talking after the game and he said no that didn’t bother me because we broke up two years ago. I just leave her on my social media.
I would guess every outfielder has been rode pretty hard about different things. And I know the bullpen guys have. Where it gets interesting is when someone sitting around the family section decides to open their mouth and a few mama bears get really mad really fast. Ask the guy in purple at the Clemson game.

It’s only an hour from the coast. Anyone that’s ever been to the cost or beach this time of year knows they call for rain daily. Sometimes it hits and some times it completely misses. I think we will be alright for today guys.

Whoever asked about parking at Southern Miss (Pete Taylor Park—no relation BTW), most lots are reserved for SM fans. Not aware of any parking passes available. Theres‘s a parking lot on 4th street that should be available and a paid lot near Sorority Row. “USM Vs All Y’ALL” signs are everywhere.

We have great pitching depth, but when you have 3 high quality starters compared to just 1 for USM, we’ll be hurt worse by delays messing with our rotation because USM is likely going to Johnny Whole Staff other than Tanner Hall day anyway. I’d hate to only see Lindsey pitch 1-2 innings considering he’s been electric lately and arguably our best pitcher.

Weather really not looking favorable, especially with lightning in the forecast - we might either be delayed or start and stop; I expect a finish past midnight.

So, if this is the case, does CTV start with the Bullpen if Vols begin at scheduled time and weather is looming?

Bad weather should favor VOLS. We have 4 quality starters and a deep pen .

Help me understand this. With 3 quality starters plus Burns, Zander, Cam and AJ as long relief/starter options I don’t see how the delay hurts us worse. Their depth isn’t as good as ours so if they go Johnny Staff today after 2 innings today I see them being in more trouble from here on out. They better hope Hall can go 7+ tomorrow in that scenario IMO.

It’s going to move to the east pretty rapidly and we’re calling for significant weather back home in Houston. I think we’re almost certain to see it roll through MS, just a matter of when.

Thats what southern miss and the committee planned and hoped for
