You are right but 200 of those go to families and big time donors and school admin. So 400 or less will be made available to public. Because I’m guessing in some form or fashion, they give season-ticket holders a chance to buy rather than just open to public. I reckon we will know tomorrow. In 21, they sold 500 on Wednesday morning and they were gone in 12 minutes. They sold standing room only an hour and a half before the game and if I remember right there were people standing in line for eight hours for those.

Minimum bid is $35K. There is no max. What if a school decided that the PR, recruiting impact, and impressions from the Supers was worth $1M and a donor agreed to pay it? Or they wanted to send out a retiring Coaching staff on a high note. Even though they knew they’d only make $500K for the whole tournament. Just $ numbers for illustrative purposes.

Regardless of location, none of the allocation will be made available to the public. So Miss is also notorious for not having public sales of their regional tickets. Don’t expect either school to have an onsale for Supers.

I know she’s Zander’s aunt or something but would players even already know if they’re hosting or not? I figured they’d find out when the rest of us did, plus @preacherman20 isnt saying anything alluding to us hosting

I know it’s not the same as the ISU super host being shifted to TCU, but I believe there is a NET Elite 16U &17/18U Tourney scheduled at LNS on June 8-11, as it was last year and the venue was moved due to UT/ND but we were also a top seed.

Just something to also consider as a co-workers son is supposed to play in the tourney and they are also trying to figure out what is going on and if the tourney, stays in LNS, gets moved or cancelled. Not sure what the contract commitments are, but gotta assume for something like this there is termination language to support.

What is the attendance at these pay-to-stay events? Seems like there is probably sufficient capacity at one of the HS stadiums.... I would be shocked if UT allowed this to be booked without some kind of clause that if the BaseVols were using LNS then the kids tournament would have to play elsewhere.

I looked at the tourney schedule and the games are played all over the place (Maryville Knox Morristown)

I totally agree as last year they had to move it. I just knew it was a concern from a parent I know but nothing had been communicated as of last night. I agree this gets moved, it just seems really odd that they keep trying to have this tourney, at this time of year and LNS is one of the venues. I assume they use it as a draw for tourney participation.

Will be interested in hearing the announcement at 10 EST.
