Is it me or do some of our batters take a second to leave the box after hitting the ball? I was always taught to get out of the box quickly regardless of where the ball was hit.

Sometimes they are too disappointed for a quack start out of the box, then they realize they should run it out.

My aunt and uncle stopped by for a visit, so I just started to attempt to watch the game or listen to it. I thought that at 6:10 PM EST that "game is probably over or in the 9th and we're winning".

MMMmmm not so much and I was wrong on both assumptions.

Forecast that I just checked and by looking at the radar are "shakey, at best".

I just hope the NCAA is happy cuz there is no sense in picking a facility with a lot of thunderstorms in the forecast that doesnt have a true safe place for the team to go or any dugouts that are freaking covered

Impossible to prove unless a UT meteorologist looks at Hattiesburg radar maps to determine lightning location at same time. Nothing we can do even if it was true.

It isn’t exactly rocket science to be fairly certain that there will be more pop up thunderstorms near the gulf coast in June than there will be in the foothills of the Appalachians. That’s just basic meteorology
