Saying a facility sucks to my kid and you listening in doesn’t warrant an FU from a 65+ yr man. The facility is severely lacking in basic amenities; it holds a lot, nothing more. I saw one spit down from the suites into nothing but our section, CScott’s dad and BB’s dad had to be restrained, I personally saw and heard one smart off to CTV’s dad while he and I were in a conversation before the resumption of game 2. They have plenty of nice fans and plenty of inferiority, complexed rednecks as well.

Stand by my comment. Guy gives up too many home runs, and at less than ideal times, for being as good as people claim.

He recovered and good for him. I would have been good with a decision to pull him. Bullpen is too deep to have guys giving up stuff like that.

I stopped reading some of the comments at that point. I was disappointed and yes, angry, due to the lack of judgement.

However, it only takes one swing to turn change the complexion of a game. As I stated, I think most fans get frustrated and upset as they care so much. I may be wrong and maybe we have trolls on this board but either way….

Last, I’ll say USM fans got hit with a double whammy. After they lost, the Vol players had to come up the sidewalk so USM security closed off the corridor…. Trapping all the SRO fans on the other side of the rope line. The Vol players took 15 mins coming up and shaking hands, etc. USM fans were furious. One guy shouted “let us go home!” Lol. Oh, and I saw the daddy hat and fur coat up close and personal.

The baseball forum is no different than the football or basketball forums. When things arent going good fans complain because more than likely they are watching alone and they dont have anyone to go back and forth with and let out the frustration. I myself watch alone and this is an outlet. Doesnt mean we dont think there is a chance of winning. It just means we are passionate and we are talking about the game through text. And sorry but translation in text gets misinterpreted very easily. So the fans that say anyone who complains isnt as big a fan is complete BS. I would rather have a passionate fan that also shows their dislike for a situation over the sunshine pumpers you get from the blue hairs in the ladies basketball forum. So enough with the im a better fan than you just because i show it differently. Ive watched every pitch and every at bat for the last several years. Pretty sure im a diehard fan or i would find something better to do with my time. Either way GO BIG ORANGE. Lets win game three and move on to Omaha.

The reason there is animosity towards certain posters is they come in and throw up a bitch post and never stick around and congratulate when things go well. I, or most other regulars, typically have no issue with someone venting, hell, I was cussing up a storm during the game, however if you’re going to throw out some crap, please come back and say nice game or nice play every now and then……

I unforunately had to work downtown Nashville at a bar during CMA's. However, I got to yell and act a fool when we scored 6 in whatever inning it was. Glad I got to miss the Negas and LOL when I saw 60 pages after I said GBO as the game started. What a gutsy win and so proud of Burke for that 3 run HR and the rest of the team. Plus I have off tomorrow and get to watch game 3 on my couch. Lets get er down tomorrow!!

Still disagree. I coach never to leave your spot until after ball is hit or gets by batter. Play the ball first.

Have you watched MLB? When SS and 2B cover their mouths with their gloves, they're often discussing who will cover. USM executed the hit and run to perfection. As someone stuffed m stated, if you wait until the ball is hit, very unlikely you will make it to the bag to get the throw.
