It’s not like Beam left pitches up that were driven into the gap. Ultimately he got two ground balls that were just happened to be placed perfectly. It happens.

True, but his pitch per out was nearly 6... he just wasn't getting swings and misses after the first few innings. Having them string hits together eventually was pretty much inevitable; with how much depth we have, he shouldn't have gotten the 7th.
