I will give Tennessee sports as a program a whole lot of credit for consistent. They are very good at giving you some hope and getting you excited (Kansas game) then kicking you squarely in the testicles (am game).

You guys are full of crap. Here is the exact moment Nance turns and Barnes turns. The camera angle makes them appear much closer than they actually are. Looking at the two people in the stands shows how the perspective is skewed

If UT sports still gives you hope these days your a sucker:) somehow it still stinks though even when I have no expectations of them I still get disappointed so I guess that makes me a sucker to:)

This is just one of those seasons. Not a good team...going nowhere. It happens. It sucks but it is what it is. There's the Lady Vols basketball...LV softball coming up...then football...best to focus on them instead of this mess. Hopefully Barnes gets us back next year. Best to just move on from this team...this year.

This year is weird for a lot of teams TAMU included. I mean Vandy took AU to the wire on the plains. SEC is just not that good across the board this year.

Vandy still had their best player then.

Althought Auburn is down 16 to Ole Miss right now.

Or, you could recognize losing our 5 best players from last year with Bone and Turner being completely unexpected has led to a mass turn over of our roster. One of our current starters showed up 3 weeks ago. The team is really young and enjoy watching them improve and develop.

Just another option vs checking out on the season. TIFWIW

Great Post. This is a transition year and unfortunately when our outside looks dont fall against a Athletic strong front court we our going to get beat on the boards. It shouldn't be that bad but it is our weakness.

By in large I agree, but completely whiffing in recruiting the last two years really hurt as well. We are where we are though.

Needless to say this is huge loss for us. We have the toughest remaining SEC schedule left of any team so you have to take care of this game. Going to have to pull off some road upsets to get back into the conversation. Bowden is killing us. The second half of the Kansas game clearly didn’t carry over. Gaines is one of our better rebounders, I think he has to play some more.

We need to learn how to play aggressively and intelligently at the same time. There is a point where Fulkerson passed Bowden as he was fast breaking after a turnover and he ran right into the ball. Too many things like that. Texas money was in those refs pockets too.

This team has a lot of a holes (lack of size underneath, guard quickness and tentativeness among the freshmen) that is getting harder to mask as the season progresses. But it is what it is at the point in time
