Seriously. Night and day difference in UTEP's coach. I mean just look at the insiders practice. He seems like a coach, CCM just doesnt. but what do i know

Getting close myself. Can't take much more of this crap. We have superior athletes and should be up 20 at the half. This guy can't get it done, he is a great person and role model, but a division 1 coach he is not.

I agree that we should be playing better but up 20 at the half? I have seen UTEP hit a couple if tough shots. It's always our offense. McRae, Barton, and Thompson should be the ONLY ones shooting 3's.

And I feel guilty saying that but it just seems to be getting worse and I just don't say those type of things are overreact usually but this basketball team is greatly greatly underachieving so far.... I hope Coach Martin wins a national championship but I have to say I am really becoming concerned at this point.....

Officially off the CCM train. This team continues to play with zero enthusiasm and once again, looks unprepared. With the talent on this team, we continue to look like a below average squad. I put this squarely on coaching. CCM just isn't a good motivator which is why we have the lackluster play from this team that we do.

I have been on the CCM train, however, when you have to Wooden award finalists and one of them (mcRae) is a scoring machine, there is no reason we are this anemic on offense. It's obvious Martin is clueless on coaching offense. Why we don't play 90 FT. AD press like crazy is beyond me. I could win more games with this team than Cuonzo does.

Sometimes I wonder how CCM actually gets these kids, especially the highly ranked ones, to commit to play for him. I'm being serious. He seems like a nice guy but also a real bore. Just doesn't seem like the kind of guy that I'd be motivated to play my best for.

I have always been a Cuonzo supporter but after the start this season, he needs to go. This is unbelievable how bad we look coming out for each game. Its almost like they don't practice. With the talent we have right now we should be blowing this utep team out of the water. He has shown how bad of a coach he is this year. Has he even made any progress in developing Hubbs??? Haven't seen much out of him at all. Counzo needs to pack his bags put his tail between his legs and catch the next flight back to the Missouri Valley Conference.
