JJJ was a no show tonight. I still don’t understand why Johnson plays over Gaines. Gaines hustles like crazy and makes things happen whereas Johnson disappears. Got to get a lot better to win Saturday, but you can’t ever discount conference wins even when they’re ugly.

Gaines in for defense. Johnson plays for the idea he might contribute offensively.

We would have to upset some pretty good bball teams to make the NIT Auburn x 2 UK at Rupp Arky at their place....only UF at home looks winnable to me right now..that puts us at 16-15 and losing in conference record

SEC tournament will be an opportunity to make some noise. Not saying they will do it but as mediocre as the conference is in general there's the chance there.

Plasvic is 22 years old, Gaines is 20, Olivier N. is 20 and Pember is 19. They are not Sec calibur players. James just turned 19 and Vescovi is barely 18. They are Sec calibur players. I am hoping at least 3 of them hit the road so they can be recruited over.

16-15 gets Vols into the NIT. At worst a CBI bid.

The schools have to pay to play in the CBI so Tennessee wouldn't enter that Tournament.

Just because you are 7 feet tall doesn't give you a excuse to play basketball. Rick Barnes has recruited horribly the last 3 years. He knew he had and tgat is why he wanted out and was well on his way to Ucla. Steve Forbes at some point will be our next coach. Don't doubt that either.

Glad we got that settled. I don’t need to know birthdates to know whether a kid can play. Pember doesn’t ok anything like an SEC caliber player. He’s fine if you have a loaded roster and want a developmental guy. He’ll never be a post. Gaines is one of the most physical guys out there, much more than Pember or Uros.

You wonder if this staff can turn Uros into anything he has a long way to go. Gaines is about 30 pounds away from being a really great player. The extra weight and strength would really help him reach another level. We need a post player to help inside next season. We'll have the guards to compete with anybody were a player short inside need somebody elite not on this roster at this time. To early to give up on Pember he is another player that has to bulk up.
