Glad we got that settled. I don’t need to know birthdates to know whether a kid can play. Pember doesn’t ok anything like an SEC caliber player. He’s fine if you have a loaded roster and want a developmental guy. He’ll never be a post. Gaines is one of the most physical guys out there, much more than Pember or Uros.

Santiago & James are obviously going to push to start next season even with the loaded talent we have incoming at the guard position. The other guys will have to earn it.

Uros & Drew both have size & length. Who knows if either will ever really play to it though.

You wonder if this staff can turn Uros into anything he has a long way to go. Gaines is about 30 pounds away from being a really great player. The extra weight and strength would really help him reach another level. We need a post player to help inside next season. We'll have the guards to compete with anybody were a player short inside need somebody elite not on this roster at this time. To early to give up on Pember he is another player that has to bulk up.

Pember is going to be a very good player for Tennessee. A redshirt would be good for him. He is tall. He can shoot. Run the floor and he is not afraid tp attack the basket. With a red shirt he might end up being better than Fulkerson before he graduates.

I would love to see him and Gains have the chance to red shirt.I think that it would really help both of them.
