The season has progressed enough to make some declarations vices assumptions IMO. The O line unfortunately never lived up to the hype. They had a chance tonight to dominate the clock and run it out relatively speaking, and pull out the win. Regardless, I'm very much looking forward to Lane next season...am expecting good things. I have some worries defensively, but they have shown promise a game here or there. So why not all game? That said they definitely, they have work to do but the incoming class has promise. Offensively, sorry... too much east-west. Running game has a need to go N/S and so does the passing game. All in all.
Its hard to think you can replace nearly 100% of a staff and have 100% success. Its unrealistic.. the percentages don't work..and I hope CBJ realizes that. I do think that some of this staff is learning as much as the players........at least I'd like to think so..that-in the SEC the east-west stuff is ok, but limited due to team speed. It does NOT win championships, period. Hence the learning curve for the staff. Regardless, CBJ, I hope, is not so wedded to his coordinators as to think they are 1) the best staff in the country...as they already proven they aren't and 2) may need to get rid of a few coordinators in the next 12-24 months 'cause they can't adapt to the SEC. Hey, they won't be the first, or the last. $0.02.
