The Official Tennessee vs. Vanderbilt Game Thread, 7:00pm ET, ESPNU

Partly not serious... Of course he can't go 40 minutes, but he sure as hell ought to be able to go more than 7, if not on pure adrenaline that he's finally showing 5 star stuff.

So ridiculous. Dude needed a break. He's 6'8/270, was crashing the boards on every single shot, was everywhere on defense (Vandy put him through four ball screens on one possession). He got a three minute breather. If the team can't go without for three minutes, that's on them. CCM did nothing wrong and neither did Stokes.

If they shore up the perimeter D and get Stokes the ball, they'll win.

Anyone criticizing Stokes right now is showing they know nothing about basketball.

I agree. Stokes was hot, as hot as he's been since he's been here, and just got taken out of rhythm with a really long break.

Stokes is the reason we're in this game... It's nice to finally see a difference in the team when he's not on the court, and for it being a positive reason.

He's been resting for a whole year.

you should learn more about basketball before posting, imo

I know plenty about basketball. That's not an issue here. The issue is our difference of opinions. I think he should have played until he showed he needed to come out. Sure, I absolutely agree that he plays hard on both ends, but he walks up and down the court in transition. I'm saying, he, at this level, shouldn't be tired after 7 minutes of ownage.

1) So let's run him into the ground in the first half? There are 33 more minutes to go.

2) And UT hasn't had any transition, hence he hasn't walked in transition tonight.

3) You obviously haven't played post and crashed the boards every play and had to guard 12-15 ball screens in seven minutes.
