It's not elitist. Trying to say Stokes has "rested" the whole year and criticizing him for coach deciding to give him a break is ridiculous.
1) So let's run him into the ground in the first half? There are 33 more minutes to go.
2) And UT hasn't had any transition, hence he hasn't walked in transition tonight.
3) You obviously haven't played post and crashed the boards every play and had to guard 12-15 ball screens in seven minutes.
Defensive transition... I'm looking at it as a tale of 2 halves... He rested after the first 7 minutes for 3 minutes, half of this half, in order to come in and play the 2nd half of this half... Those halves were polar opposites of each other for Stokes... I'm not criticizing, I'm saying we should have kept him in there until he showed fatigue... I'm not saying drive him into the ground, I'm saying, let him get the most out of this rhythm he was in.
Vandy has 23 points...how the hell has Vandy been in transition? And Jarnell gets back pretty well for a post.
And no we shouldn't. CCM took him out with about 13:30 to go for the 12:00 minute. Unfortunately, there was no stoppages in play till 9:46 to go, hence why Jarnell was out.
Martin put him at the scoring table with I believe 11:30 to go...not his fault the game didn't stop. This is kind of ridiculous.
Dear God.
Criticizing for subbing in the middle of a run when things are rolling is fair. Poor time to do it. The rest remark not so much.
