Sorry for my lack of knowledge about the newcomers but is #10 expected to have an impact?

apologize if already posted somewhere, but what is the breakdown of the Xavier team this year? Crazy things happen at the first of the season and most teams look nothing in March like they did in Nov-Dec. A co-worker who actually went to X was cautiously optimistic they would pull the W tonight, but admitted they really do not have any beaf under the net. Besides the kid that was listed earlier in this thread, who could do some damage to us?

I can't even explain how pumped I am for this game tonight and the start of the season.

I really feel like we have the talent and depth to do something special this year.

NumberFire does team matches based on statistically similar style of play. They project that Tennessee will most closely rememble the 2001 Holy Cross Crusaders. They were 22-8 and lost to Kentucky in the first round of the tournament by 4 points. They ran a slow-tempo and relied on rebounding and free-throws.

I mean I can kind of see that, but of all the teams over the past 13 years, that is the one we most closely align with?? Weird.

FYI, they say Xavier most resembles the 2000 Bucknell Bison. Get ready for Patriot League action!

I think it's gonna be a have to see it to believe it, but I think our scoring is gonna be up from the past 2 years. I get these statistics go off what they've seen, but I would be surprised if we aren't in the 70s tonight.

This early in the season these statistical projections are FAR from accurate.

The computers like Xavier. I could see them squeaking by, but Tennessee should be the better team. I think the Vols win a close one.
