I am sure this has already been discussed somewhere but I haven't seen it.

Why didn't we schedule a game over the weekend to get our feet set??

It seems to me we would have been better prepared for tonight playing on Friday a cupcake home opener.

Staring forward Justin Martin is our for Xavier, the other 2 that were questionable are warming up but no official announcement.

Or you can come out and prove you are the superior team on the road and impress people. Gotta go on the road sooner or later. Why not now?

If we win its all good!

If not Scheduling will have played a factor IMO.

We won't be as good tonight as we would have been if we had already played 3 games(1 real, and 2 exhibitions)

I don't think so. We had road woes last season. Might as well get them out the way. I don't like playing cupcakes. False hope gets built up. Just go on the road against a quality opponent and play. I see what you're saying but I like opening up with Xavier.

They will not be as "crisp" tonight compared to February. No matter if they had a regular season game before Xavier or not.

One game would not have made a significant difference. Teams either come out ready to go or they don't. It is only the opener, and its a good one! Theres enough hype on this game they should be ready to go.
