You’re pointing to one inning for one team in CWS. Generally speaking 1st innings in CWS have been nervy for most teams and it makes sense. Lots of ebs and flows to college baseball games. Just gotta ride the waves, and this team has proven they can do so.

I knew this was gonna happen. He hasn’t performed well in 5 starts. Makes zero sense to me.

I didn't know it was going to happen, but I was afraid it would when the starting pitcher was announced. The combination of a poor starting pitcher and poor efense in not an ideal beginning for the first game of the CWS.
