Man what a jerk. U should've politely declined an interview if u didn't want to be here. Instead u make sure all the press knows you're coming to interview, then decline us to stay on with the weezle who almost single handedly threw our program in the gutter. Wow. And there are these don't bash tee, he's still a vfl threads. BS. Thanks buddy. It doesn't matter wether tee did this just to get a raise from USC or because he had some vandetta against Dooley for not hiring him. Hell we all hate dooley. Why would u kick us while we're down? I hope whatever idiot we have running the ad department down the road ensures we never have this guy on our coaching staff. Thanks for putting us in the news again tee. I'm sure espn and all our rivals will have a field day with this. "former vol great doesn't want to come back to tn". Hope you enjoy your time with that weezle. He seems to be rubbing off on u!

Dude, This is not cool. Apparently in the interview something just did not click between him and CBJ. Everybody has to make tough decisions in life sometimes. We don't have any idea of what actually took place in the interview. Tee Martin is a legend at UT and will always be. This is just sour grapes.

SHOW SOME CLASS!!

I'm guessing you are just posting this to get some of us riled up bc you can't be serious with this. The man came to evaluate a job offer and to weigh his options on what's best for his family. Just like any rational person in the world would do. Yes it would be nice to have him back but he is by no means forced to come to Knoxville just bc he played here.

Grow up! You don't know the man or the circumstances surrounding his family and why they decided to stay. Everyone is an outsider looking in; however, they seem to know what's best for Tee and his family. Get over it.

lol. Tee, Gruden, Strong or whoever that doesn't want to be here....just say goodluck and move on. We got coaches that want to be here and will lead us back so why spend so much time being angry at the ones that don't want to be? I'm sure Lane is laughing this morning but who cares....GBO!

Yes he should have shown some class. Don't use us for a raise or whatever other purpose he had in mind. And yes...it is sour grapes. I tired of our program being rubbed in the dirt

how is he a idiot everything he said was true!...but lets go threw the facts...tee family closer to UT,tee has kids around the knoxville area,tee went to school at UT and won us a NC(if it wasn't for this we probly be saying who is tee martin)...everything points to be in fav of tee martin!!...now lets put what his wife may want... she wants to come back to music after her one hit wonder back in 2001 and its easier to do that in LA!!!....BOOM!! we have a winner


p.s. you dont bring your family to UT if you don't want a new job!! the company i work for as asked me to move before and i've taken a few trips just to see what they have to offer...Guess what!! I didn't bring my family!! cause im not moving from Tennessee!! :loco::loco:

I agree. He played us for a raise. LA is expensive and he needed a little more change for his wife's voice lessons.

Tee was a great Vol and '98 will always be special to UT fans... but as far as ever letting him on the staff at UT again, I think that door should remain closed, permanently. You turn your back on Momma and she should turn her back on you. JMO.

He has to put his family first and if the timing wasn't right, then he has to do what he has to do. Its hard to move a family across the country and quickly.

While were at it, why not flame SwiperBoy for transferring to USC too? He's not a VFL, he hates us even though he reps TN every chance he gets. Some of our fans are idiots.
