Well it's officially the day of the first round, time to start a thread.

So let's begin: rumors, talk of which players will be taken and by which teams, possible trades, the whole hoopla (even criticisms of the current setup)

My second favorite weekend in the NFL outside of opening weekend. For whatever reason, I've always loved the draft and watch it every year. Been looking forward to this day since January.

Really hate that they split it up. I'm not watching this crap tomorrow night. The Saturday, Sunday format was 100x better.

I keep hearing Alabama SS Mark Barron to the Cowboys. I really don't want that to happen. I feel like he isn't the best cover Safety. I'm pretty much over that. Don't want a Laron Landry type. Feel like it would be Roy Williams 2.0.

I would like the Cowboys to draft Stanford OG DeCastro if he would fall that far, but I doubt it. Maybe another pass rusher.

I think Barron will already be gone.

It seems like some think Barron won't get to the Cowboys... but will be taken by the Chiefs at 11. Barron/Berry safety combo.

Todd McShay has us picking Poe. I would absolutely loathe that pick...

Not gonna happen. I've been listening to WFNZ in Charlotte all week as well as following every Panthers insider on twitter. It's going to be Coples, Cox, or Keuchly if we pick at 9.
I've seen lots of rumors about the Pats wanting to trade up with the Panthers. I'd be pretty upset if they screwed us again. The Armanti Edwards trade still hurts.

You wouldn't be open to taking both of their first round picks for your #9 pick?
