He was probably the least athletic starter that Memphis played regularly. His ability to get into your body and make shots from any angle and those 19' arms make him deadly.

Believe whatever you want, just mark it down. If Harris goes to KY Cal will use him just like CDR. I'd also about bet that is what Cal is selling. Just don't be surprised if Harris pulls out the little blue hat from the sack.

Like I said I hope I'm wrong. I'd dearly love to see Pinkston and Harris both at UT. Harris might just be the guy who put the Vols over the top. Not only is he talented he'd bring a professional attitude with him. Maybe it would rub off on some of the other guys. We'll see what we'll see. If he doesn't go to KY I'll gladly admit I was wrong. How about you?

Don't worry about that. Although Zags is usually on the money I don't think he has a clue where Harris is going. On this one he's just like the rest of us. In the ESPNU article Harris says he's working on playing SF because he may play that position in college depending on where he goes.

So, the fact that both are listed as PFs now means little I think. Besides there's as much evidence that they want to play together as that there is that they won't go to the same school. Zag sounds lost. He started out with Harris to Uconn and then it was the Cuse. He seems to be having trouble with the idea that Harris and Pinkston may both leave the Big East.

Is Zagoria an idiot? They may both be listed as PF, but they are completely different players? He has not idea what he is talking about

I of course don't know where Harris is going, but it's erroneous to think Pinkston choosing UT would drive Harris away. Of course, this is the same brilliant site that reported UConn as the leader for Harris.

wow. I had it completely flipped. I thought Harris would play the 4 and Pinkston play the 3. No way does that change Harris mind. I could see both playing on the same team.

Im not saying he wont pick ten but that scenario isnt as likely as you are making it sound.

*Unconfirmed Rumor

Someone said they saw Harris at the UT game tonight. Says he probably drove up to knoxville on his way back from the GT visit.

hell yeah that's a rumor. He would've been spotted by now and if he's trying to keep it as closed as he's been...why go for an unofficial right before you announce. That would be giving it away to me.

Per Rob Lewis:

Just to reiterate what was posted below, Harris and his father were in town tonight at the game. It was an unannounced trip and one that they decided to make this afternoon after finishing up their unofficial visit at Georgia Tech. They made the drive up from Atlanta in order to meet with the coaching staff one more time before signing.

Obviously, it's impossible to call the timing of this last visit anything but good for Tennessee. Harris still plans to sign on Thursday, but this latest move makes it difficult to think that Tennessee isn't in the driver's seat.

Those we've talked to tonight have been very careful to say that it's 'not a done deal' with Harris, but from this standpoint it would be hard to bet against him signing with Tennessee.

Elsewhere, as we said early this afternoon, everything looks good for Jayvaughn Pinkston ending up as Vol tomorrow. We've checked in with his camp and while they want to keep some drama for tomorrow's event, it would be surprise at this stage if Pinkston didn't ink with the Vols.
