The Official Tobias Harris Thread

I would of got Bruces house keys, grabbed that blonde from the boat, and told my dad to go play somewhere and that's where I would've watched the game. ;)

I don't think Selby is a possibility with what went down. Might be wrong though. Didn't I hear something that Indiana was the favorite now? But he's a spring decision so a lot can change.

Any chance that a highly rated class like this could put us back in the Selby hunt?

His mother said they may come up for the Kansas game for an official. With the possible addition of Harris, plus an official for the kansas game, I think he would seriously consider Tenn again.

Harris just retweeted this: RT @awireman: I just talked to Tobias Harris (@tobias31) he confirmed that he was in Knoxville today, but he HAS NOT committed

Of course he is going to say that, he doesn't want to ruin his announcement.

Do you expect him to tell the world via twitter that he had when he has a pending ESPNU announcement?

would just like to say I called this!!!

4 hours from Hotlanta to Knox.. maybe he can stop by on the 18th and give Bruce a commitment in person
I remember reading that :) Let's not get too carried away until the ink is dry though.

It does got to count for something that he did come back to Knoxville. I'm sure the ATL had plenty of direct flights back to NY so this is huge.

I'm not getting my hopes up, but adding back Josh Selby, assuming everything about Harris is correct, would be the best class in UT history. That would be one sick class

Im still not convinced, the whole family has been tight lipped about the process the whole time, why out yourself in the spotlight two days before the announcement. Something is up

While this is probably a good sign with as affable as his father seems toward the staff it wouldn't surprise me if he came to the game to tell the staff in person why he is choosing someone else, and to thank them for their efforts. Not trying to be a downer, but I don't want to count our chickens before they hatch.

His visit has already been confirmed.

I was with my friend tonight at our old high schools basketball game, he had no idea Tobias was going to be there. He text me about 10 minutes ago & said Harris WAS there & he IS All Vol book it.

Is that the same friend who told you about Pinkston?

I sure as hell wouldn't drive 3 hours just to say that. Phones are your friend....

He is at UT right now. That is confirmed. No one (that matters anyways) has said that he has committed to UT. Just that it looks very good for us considering the circumstances.

I don't really think he'd come to Knoxville just to tell the staff he wasn't coming. I don't see him going to Lexington, College Park or anywhere else to tell them so why make an exception for Tennessee (unless he had to stop in Knoxville anyways) but I just don't see that. Either way, I won't feel good until the papers are signed.

I thought he was a manager? Why would he not be at the game?

He helps out with the practices, set's the stuff up. Helps rebound, & does alot of other things around the gym. He is usually at every game but our old high school played right outside of Knox tonight so he went to that.
